Heartfelt Dreams Foundation

From the beginning of May through the end of July, I had the pleasure of interning with Heartfelt Dreams Foundation, a charity founded by St. Lawrence alumnus Eric Ankerud ’78. The foundation is centered around improving the treatment experience for congenital heart defect (CHD) patients and their families through emotional, educational, and financial support, while also advancing CHD awareness within the medical community.

This past summer, I interned as a Marketing and Communications Intern with Heartfelt Dreams Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting patients with congenital heart defects and the medical professionals who care for them. In this role, I worked directly with the CEO and President to promote the organization’s programs and initiatives. My responsibilities included assisting with auction item promotion, data entry for patient assistance and scholarship applications, supporting sponsor outreach, and contributing to various administrative projects.

The Heartfelt Dreams Foundation is an organization that provides emotional and financial support to individuals and families who suffer from congenital heart defects.
