My role as an International Business Development Intern at Young Happy in Bangkok was an experience that enriched my understanding of global business dynamics. Driven by my family’s business legacy and my own ambition to excel in the field, I chose Bangkok for its dynamic market environment and the opportunity to work with a pioneering social enterprise. Young Happy, dedicated to fostering a supportive community for seniors, allowed me to see how business strategies can effect meaningful social change.

The Squam Lakes Conservation Society is an accredited land trust in beautiful Holderness New Hampshire and holds conservation easements on 170+ properties throughout the Squam Lake watershed. My role as an AmeriCorps member varied from day to day, but I spent the majority of the term monitoring property boundaries.

The internship focused on reinforcing and educating young kids on the science of paleontology. The job ultimately required lesson plans to be curated and research to be added to the curriculum. His research/curriculum focused on paleopathology, the study of medical conditions found in ancient humans and animals.
