Hi! My name is Bryn, and I’m from Boulder, Colorado. I’m currently studying Environmental Studies and Sociology, with an interest in learning about the relationship between people and the environments that surround them. On campus, I’m an Outdoor Program guide and work at the climbing wall, where I love meeting new people while exploring the Adirondacks and beyond. I’m also actively involved in the Campus Kitchens Project, where I helped establish a relationship with a local farm to exchange volunteer hours for fresh produce used in our weekly meals for people facing food insecurity in the area. Additionally, I love spending time in the campus permaculture garden, where I encourage others to get involved as well!
While I’m still exploring my next steps after college, my recent experiences abroad have inspired me to continue working internationally in the future. I am also passionate about local food systems and hope to engage in work that focuses on agriculture and youth education.
