Summer 2024
Description

For the summer of 2024, I worked as an intern at the Bangladesh offices of the international organization Welthungerhilfe. My official contract began from June 1st till August 7th, though my last day of work at the office was on August 12th.

During this internship, I applied my skills in organization, research, and multilingualism to effectively support my organizations in building project proposals and coordinating a multinational conference attended by colleagues from countries across South Asia.

The first half of my internship was spent writing and researching for the proposal we were collaborating with German Doctors, another German-based non-profit working in healthcare and livelihood. I then participated in an orientation workshop with colleagues from a local-partner NGO and German Doctors in an organizational and note-taking capacity to create project goals and activities.

The second half of my internship was primarily focused on organizing the annual SAARC Agricultural Conference hosted by SAARC and my organization. I primarily worked in outreach and taking proceedings from preliminary meetings with proposed dignitaries and co-hosts. During the conference, I took minutes on behalf of my organization and participated in connecting with economists and officers from various organizations whose primary focus was on non-profits, research, and social services.
