Description
Birdsfoot is an organic Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm in Canton, NY.
Birdsfoot was the best possible experience I could have had during my summer going into senior year. It gave me a true understanding of everything that goes into farming from having your hands in the soil to community engagement and marketing.
I have learned valuable skills such as using a variety of tools, preparing land, planting, and caring for crops. Birdsfoot continued the idea of the importance of community in my mind as there is a tight knit group of people on and around the farm that support one another through food, knowledge, and fun.
