Description

During my internship in Congressman Warren Davidson’s office, I had the opportunity to work on legislation I’m passionate about, particularly in fiscal responsibility and American manufacturing. This experience not only provided valuable insight into how a congressional office functions, from constituent services to policy research and legislative development, but also helped me develop a deeper understanding of the importance of networking on Capitol Hill. I contributed to projects aimed at reducing government spending and supporting domestic manufacturing, enhancing my skills in research, communication, and policy analysis. Additionally, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across D.C. gave me the chance to build a professional network in the policy and legislative communities. This internship reinforced my interest in public service and significantly advanced my career, motivating me to pursue further opportunities in public policy and consider graduate studies in public administration or economics.
