Koral Tarbell-Mitchell

Hello, I am Koral Tarbell-Mitchell, Class of 2028! I intend to pursue a degree in psychology with a focus on mental health advocacy for indigenous communities and impoverished communities alike. 

Growing up on an Indigenous reservation with limited green space and a lack of mental health care, I was given a unique opportunity to understand how limited resources impact the well-being of a whole community.

Molly Rodewald

Molly Rodewald '28 is an Environmental Studies and Biology combined major at St. Lawrence. 

From a young age she has been surrounded by the natural beauty of the Northeast, which sparked a passion to foster a world in which all humans interact with their environment in a reciprocal and regenerative manner. This passion for sustainability and conservation has transferred over to her time spent at SLU, where she is involved in Environmental Action Organization, the Greenhouse, the Peace Corps Prep Program, and the Admissions office.

Azaa Regmi ’28, from Kathmandu, Nepal, graduated from Rato Bangala School in 2024. She is pursuing a double major in Statistics and Finance, with aspirations for a career in investments. At St. Lawrence, Azaa brings her outgoing personality and leadership skills to campus life as a member of the Varsity Squash Team, a chair in the Thelomathesian Society (student government), an Admissions Ambassador, an executive member of Literacy for Nepal, Vice President of the ASIA Club, and a Thrive mentor for the first-year class.

Benjamin Rathke

My name is Benjamin, and I am in international student from Germany. However, my family moved around a lot, and I have also lived in Malawi and Tanzania. Growing up in between worlds certainly brought its challenges but I also really enjoyed the international setting and wanted to experience yet another part of the world, so I decided to come to the USA for university. My goals at St. Lawrence are to grow myself as a person - in all dimensions.

Marti Peidro Riverola

Martí '28 is pursuing a major in Economics and Business with a minor in Chinese Studies at St. Lawrence University. He is from Barcelona, Spain, and also spent two years in Hong Kong completing the International Baccalaureate diploma at United World College. Living in such diverse parts of the world has given him a global perspective and strengthened his adaptability and cross-cultural understanding.

I’m Manti Mokone, a sophomore at St. Lawrence University with a strong passion for technology, software engineering, and offensive security. I was born in Lesotho, and my journey has taken me from studying the International Baccalaureate in Tanzania to continuing my education in the United States. Along the way, I’ve developed a strong foundation in backend development with Python and JavaScript, building projects with FastAPI, Django, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.

My name is Ryan McCausland, and I am in the graduating class of 2028 at St. Lawrence University and am a member of the baseball team. I am from Wellesley, Massachusetts, and graduated from Wellesley High School in 2024 where I was in the National Honors Society. I plan on majoring in Economics, and hope to work in sports in the future. 

Abby Gallas

Abby Gallas, Class of 2028, is an intending on majoring in Biology with an SSES minor, she has a strong interest in exercise science and sports performance. She intends to obtain her Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification and attend physical therapy school after her undergraduate studies. Abby works as a strength & conditioning intern at St. Lawrence University through the OCIP program, she further developed her skills as a Sports Performance Intern at Yale University this summer. AJ DiFranco

AJ DiFranco is a student at St. Lawrence University in the graduating class of 2028. He is from Willow Grove, Pennsylvania (near Philadelphia), and plans on majoring in Conservation Biology at SLU. He is interested in wildlife conservation and plans to utilize his experience in natural lands management, community education, and animal care to help research and conserve our planet's unique wildlife.

Ariana Ardell

Ariana Ardell is a student of the class of 2028. She is double-majoring in Environmental Studies and Business in the Liberal Arts, with a minor in Asian Studies. Over the past year, Ariana has been dedicated to growing her communication and outreach skills, focusing on a environmental sustainability. On campus, Ariana is vice president of the women's/genderqueer fishing club, Women With Rods. She is also the secretary of St. Lawrence Sailing Club and sits on the E-board as social chair of Fly Fishing Club.

 

Eszter Keszthelyi

Hello! 

My name is Eszter Keszthelyi, and I’m originally from Budapest, Hungary. I am currently pursuing a major in Computer Science as part of the 3+2 Engineering program at St. Lawrence University, with plans to graduate in 2027.

Before coming to St. Lawrence, I attended the United World College (UWC) in Hong Kong, where I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program—an experience that deepened my global perspective and curiosity for interdisciplinary learning.

Shota Kubota

I have built my foundation on balancing academics and athletics, always striving for excellence in both. Born in the United States and raised in Japan, I attended an international school after returning to Japan, which gave me a global perspective and the ability to understand and respect diverse values. Alongside my studies, I played baseball in a traditional Japanese setting, where I developed strong discipline and self-control which are qualities that help me serve as a bridge between Japan and the world.

Anahita Karimishahir

Born in Iran, Anahita Karimishahir ’28 is a Physics major, Davis Scholar, and varsity coxswain at St. Lawrence University. Her international education, culminating in an IB Diploma from UWC Robert Bosch College in Germany, has fostered a commitment to both technical skill and community service. On the water, she is responsible for the strategic and managerial leadership of her crew team. On campus, she is the incoming president of the Society of Physics Students and has worked as a German tutor and research assistance.

Lars Fattinger

Lars Fattinger '28 is a double major in Geology and Biology with a minor in Outdoor Leadership. They are fascinated by the field of paleoclimatology - analyzing geological records to better understand past environmental conditions and the forces shaping our planet today. Specifically, they are interested in pursuing research related to tree rings, ice cores, and glacial terrains to interpret past climates.

I am Nikolas Papaioannou and I come from a big city in Greece, called Thessaloniki. I grew up there with my parents, my two older sisters and my dog. I also went to elementary, middle school and high school there, where I found the people I truly loved and cared about. My first language is Greek, but I also know how to speak English, and I am an athlete who has played over 6 sports in my life.

My name is Ralfs, and I am a Latvian. I grew up between a small town and the countryside before moving to the Japanese Alps to attend UWC ISAK. Now, I intend to double-major in Data Science and Political Science, and see where life takes me next.

Gregory Malsang

Hi, my name is Grégory Malsang, I born in Strasbourg, France, where I spend almost 19 years. 

I'm a squash player, I started to play around 9, since that I traveled all around Europe for tournaments.

Then I traveled to Cairo, Egypt for a year, on of the main place to play squash around the world. 

And after that I joined SLU as a student athlete just after turning 22. 

Nabila Husna

Nabila is the first Indonesian undergraduate student at St. Lawrence University, double majoring in English and Global Studies. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Indonesia, she proudly carries her Indonesian heritage and unique cross-cultural identity. Nabila spent six transformative years living and studying at a pesantren (Islamic boarding school), an experience that shaped her deep appreciation for education, resilience, and community.
