My name is Camila and I'm from a small city in south-central Colombia called Neiva. I speak Spanish, English, and I’m in the process of becoming fluent in French. Though I’m from a small place, I always dreamed big. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I didn’t like it there, I just aimed for bigger things.
I finished my last two years of high school in UWC Thailand. Where I lived with amazing people from many different countries. UWC changed my life and the way I see the world. While being there, I understood the value of our experiences and realized that I love learning. Through daily life: failures and succeeds; people and their stories; smiles and tears.
I enjoy talking about global issues, politics, the environment, and cultures. I’m an organized person, I like planning and “keeping things under control” but I also like challenges and that self-rewarding feeling of overcoming them.

Me llamo Camila y soy de una ciudad pequeña en el centro-sur de Colombia llamada Neiva. Hablo español, inglés y estoy en el proceso de aprender a hablar francés fluidamente. Aunque soy de un lugar pequeño, siempre soñé en grande. No me malinterpreten, no es que no me gustara estar allí, solo que mis aspiraciones son más grandes.
Terminé mis últimos dos años de secundaria en UWC Tailandia. Donde viví con gente increíble de diferentes países. UWC cambió mi vida y la forma en que veo el mundo. Mientras estaba allí, comprendí el valor de nuestras experiencias y me di cuenta de que me encanta aprender. A través de la vida diaria: fracasos y éxitos; personas y sus historias; sonrisas y lágrimas.
Disfruto hablar sobre temas globales, política, medio ambiente, y culturas. Soy una persona organizada, me gusta planear y “mantener las cosas bajo control” pero también me gustan los desafíos y esa gratificante sensación de superarlos.
