Over the summer, I worked with the Dextego CTO and Co-Founder Sean Vazquez and my fellow intern Daniel Chen on building the next version of the Dextego platform.
Dextego is an AI soft skills coaching platform that helps its users get better at pitching, presenting, making connections, etc. In short, Dextego helps businesses train its employees and beyond the skills learned, it helps the employees gain confidence.
During my internship, I got to learn and use different platforms and frameworks such as GitHub, Pinecone, AlloyDB, MongoDB, Gemini, OpenAI, Perplexity, Flask, and LangChain. I learned how to develop RAG applications, how to build a specialized chatbot, how to do research on which platforms and frameworks are best to use, and how to write production code. While the next version of Dextego is still on the way, we laid the groundwork this summer.
This internship has been an invaluable experience for me and I am happy it introduced me to the world of startups.
