Description

I worked as a Research Assistant at Ecoanalitica, a macroeconomic consulting firm specializing in the Latin American region. My primary responsibilities included contributing to a comprehensive research report on the macroeconomic landscape of Panama and assisting in a project commissioned by CAF (Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean) to evaluate a water treatment facility in the southern region of the Dominican Republic.

In addition to these specific projects, I was responsible for maintaining and updating databases with central bank data, as well as compiling and analyzing macroeconomic news from ten countries in the region every week. I also produced charts and visual representations of key economic data for Venezuela and the Dominican Republic, which were utilized in the firm’s social media.

Throughout my internship, I supported my supervisor in conducting research for several academic papers on topics including remittances, climate change, and monetary policy.
